The New Albany Community Authority (NACA) was created to address certain needs of a growing community by financing designated community projects base on it’s community development charge (CDC). These projects include.

The New Albany High/Middle School was completed in 1996 at a cost of $28 million. The School was originally built for the 6th through 12th grades.
Fodor Road
Fodor Road provides access from various parts of the community to the Learning Campus. Fodor Road was completed in 1996 at a cost of $2.7 million.
Plain Local Fire StationMore details...
The Plain Township Fire Station on U.S. Route 62 was completed in 1999. The Authority provided $1.2 million in funding for purchase of the Ladder Truck shown below and partial funding for Plain Local Fire Station.

A total of $1.2 million was provided to the fire department for the truck purchase and partial construction funds for the station shown above.


Projects funded by other revenues including the Village Income tax and lease agreements.
New Albany Health and Wellness CenterMore details...
The Authority and Mount Carmel combined to provide funding for the construction of the New Albany Health and Wellness Center located near the Village Center.
Public Road, Sewer and Water Infrastructure
The Authority, Village of New Albany, Franklin County and the Ohio Department of Transportation combined to provide funding of over $20 million for Public Roads, sewer and water projects throughout the New Albany Business Park and surrounding areas.
